THE PHAISTOS DISC
The most famous example of Hieroglyphic Minoan writing is the only clay disk of its kind from the palace of Phaistos - Crete.
It dates back to the beginning of 1700 BC and is kept intact.
On both sides there are 45 symbols with stamps while the clay was still fresh and for this reason the disk is considered the oldest known sample of typography.
