Care for sterling jewelry

With proper care, your sterling silver will last a lifetime. To minimize scratches and other damage, store your sterling silver jewelry either in a cloth pouch or in a separate compartment in your jewelry box. Avoid the use of skincare products, perfume. Do not expose your sterling silver to household chemicals (bleach or ammonia) and when swimming in chlorinated water, as these chemicals can damage silver.

Sterling silver jewelry will tarnish over time when exposed to sun and natural elements in the air. A quick polish will restore the shine and luster of sterling silver jewelry. Use bleach-free or ammonia-free silver polish tarnish removal to clean sterling silver jewelry. A soft flannel cloth is ideal for polishing without scratching. Microfiber cloths are great for polishing silver jewelry.
